Delivery

To understand the shipment methods buyinvite uses, you should bear in mind certain principals when you place your order.

1 to 2 weeks after the end of each sale, we receive the supplier’s merchandise that we have sold into our warehouses. Then we prepare your order and ship it to you via our courier. As such, standard shipping times are on average 15 days after an event and in some cases up to 2-3 weeks from the end of each sales event.

buyinvite.com.au delivers to Australian postal addresses only.

buyinvite.co.nz delivers to New Zealand postal addresses only.

Our brand partners allow us to only send within these two countries which is why we are not able to dispatch to foreign countries currently.

Delivery methods

buyinvite.com.au & buyinvite.co.nz dispatches all parcels using Australia Post, NZ Post & Australian Air Express to offer you a fast and reliable delivery service.

With this service, your parcel is delivered within 5 working days of being dispatched from our warehouse.

You can track your delivery via the My Account / My orders Page

Delivery charges offers are as low as we can possibly make them. Metro areas, regardless of state or country are a flat fee of $10.50. There is no additional charge for rural members and these delivery charges are flat rates regardless of your parcel’s weight, volume, fragility and the value of your order. The charges include fulfilment costs of your order.

If you choose to add other items from the same ongoing sale to an order you have already confirmed, additional delivery charges will not be added to your order. In order to action this you must make a separate purchase and notify Member Relations (on member.relations@buyinvite.com.au or member.relations@buyinvite.co.nz) who will credit your account the second $10.50 postage.

You can view any additional charges before completing payment. However we are unable to group together delivery charges from separate orders (made from different sales). This is due to logistical reasons as suppliers provide goods sold on the site at different times.

Delivery times

Your order is dispatched on average 15 days after you place your order on our website. Estimated delivery times are available from the moment you place your order.

In the My Account / My orders section, you can view:

  • when a brands merchandise arrives in our warehouse
  • the dispatch date of your parcel (available once your parcel has left our warehouses)
  • the estimated delivery timeframe for your parcel

Once your parcel has been prepared by our Logistics team, an email will automatically be sent to you.

Delivery normally takes place about 3 working days after your parcel is dispatched from our warehouse.

Can I choose my delivery date?

We are unable to make changes to your expected delivery date. Once we receive the stock in our warehouse, the items are sorted and put into parcels for dispatch to our members. During this preparation phase, we are unable to intervene to dispatch your parcel before or after the others.

Delivery problems

Despite our best efforts and those of our postal partners, certain issues can arise before your parcel is delivered.

In order to guarantee you a quality service, buyinvite promises to do its best to find the causes and resolve the problem in a timely manner.

What should I do if I cannot track my order online?

Once your parcel has been dispatched, an email containing your parcel information is sent to you automatically. You can then follow your parcel’s progress on our website by going to the My Account / My orders / My delivery tracking section.

If you are unable to view any information regarding your parcel, we recommend that you contact us so we can follow up on your order.

What happens if I am not available to receive my parcel?

Should you not be present when our postal partner attempts to deliver your parcel, a card will be left in your letter box. This card will notify you that the parcel has been left in your nearest Post Office and that you will be able to pick it up during opening hours with identification.

Occasionally our partners do not leave a card behind. In this case we recommend you simply head up to your local Post Office with identification to pick your parcel up.

If a parcel is left at the Post Office for more than 2 weeks it is sent back to us. You must wait until it arrives in our warehouse. At this time you will automatically receive an email asking you if you would like us to resend your parcel or if you would rather we keep your parcel and issue you a full refund.

What if Australia Post is unable to leave a card?

If your post-box is inaccessible and our courier was not able to leave a card, we recommend you contact your local Post Office directly to pick up the parcel.

What should I do if I receive a damaged parcel?

If when you receive your parcel you notice that it is damaged you should refuse to accept it. All parcels are guaranteed to be in perfect condition when they are dispatched from our warehouse, complete with security tape that should be visible and intact.

I have only received part of my order

Please be aware that your order may be dispatched in separate parcels and on different dates.

If you have only received a part of your order, we recommend you visit the delivery tracking page in the My Account / My orders section.

If shipment is still ongoing, your missing items will almost certainly be delivered shortly.

If the shipment dates have lapsed and you have not received your entire order, please contact us using the details at the bottom of the page.

I have received a defective item or my order is incorrect

If you notice that the items you’ve received are faulty or if your parcel does not contain the items you ordered, please contact us via the Help & Contact / Contact us / Questions related to my orders section.
